My morning started off early. Spacex was lighting off starship test flight 5. To say this was a big one, would be an understatement. As they were going to try and catch the booster, with the chopsticks.
To cut to the chase. They did it. They caught the booster, with the chopsticks.
This is an insane achievement. Definitely give Scott Manley’s breakdown of it a watch. With the crazy launch over, it was off to a football game.
Football
My journey to the game, started with a drive to the airport. No, I wasn’t getting on a plane (sadly). I was just going to park there, and take the train.
After the quick train ride, I was there. A long stair climb later, I was at my seat. And what a view I saw.
As a Ravens fan, who’s never been to a game, seeing them play in person was amazing.
I’m not going to recap the game, you can watch the highlights here if you want. But I think Washington might have a good shot at being good again. They put on a good fight, just not good enough for us. The game ended at 30-23, Ravens.
Safe to say, I’ll be going to another game. This was fantastic. But before I can go to another, first I need to get home.
The Reverse Voyage
Getting home was a bit of a pain. The train station was packed. Packed as in we had to wait 4-5 trains to squeeze onto one. After a quick ride, and a wait to transfer trains, I was back at the airport (sadly not flying, again).
After some bad Bal’mer (Baltimore) traffic, I was back home.
With a rocket launch and a winning game, I think I had a pretty good day.
