Photography

While I was down in Texas, a family member asked if we could see if their telescope worked. So when night came around, we dragged it out of the shed, and got it set up.

I don’t remember the model, I think it’s a AstroMaster 114EQ, at least the picture looks like what I remember. I didn’t think to take a picture of it when I was there.

After getting the sight sighted in, we set our sights on Jupiter. And we saw it. Though, not very well, as we couldn’t find any other (stronger) eye pieces. But, I had an idea.

After getting my camera set up, and pointed at Jupiter, I snapped a pic.

That’s Jupiter, and three of its moons. Though, it took a lot of cropping to bring them out.
