So a while back, I ordered some custom license plates from the MVA (the Maryland version of a DMV). Something fun that would give me a chuckle. I did the paperwork and submitted my payment (the plate text was approved), and waited. MVA was stating around 4-6 weeks, so I knew it was going to be a bit.

Well today, I got an email from the MVA. “Tag Return Receipt”.

What Is That‽

So… My custom plates were “returned”, and I am being refunded. Fun.

It gets worse. My car is no longer registered. I can’t drive it on the road… Fun. And I can’t re-order/re-register it online right now.

Luckily I can borrow a car from someone, so I get get to work, and other stuff. These next few days are going to suck.
