It’s been a week since I got my system76 Launch Lite keyboard. I really like it.

Backspace Space

I did end up messing with the split space bar. Making the left side backspace.

It took a while to get used to, but now that I have, it’s ruined me. Typing on my laptop’s keyboard is weird. When I need to hit backspace, sometimes I freeze, trying to figure out what to do.

If you think that this will mess up gaming, yes. But, I just made a layer that makes both sides of the bar space. It even lights up in KSP colors to remind me what’s up.

I did make the mistake of taking this into work. Now I want a second one (one for home, one to keep in my bag). If I go that route, I’d get the regular Launch for home. That built in 10Gb hub looks sick. I’ll think about it (they aren’t cheap). Though, Luke has been pushing me over email to do it.
