It’s that day of the year, the one that happens every year.
The older I get, the more I want this day to be like any other. But, some other people disagree. And so I was given a new tripod.
My old one got the job done. Even if it was a little bulky, and barely fit in my pack. This one is a different story.
A tiny little 1.5lb tripod. Much smaller, and much more versatile than my old one. The head on it can also natively accept the foot on my SIGMA 150-600 lens, no plate nedded.
Yeah, that does look a little weird. But, it’s fully rated for the weight of that lens, unlike my old one. The lens alone is 4.6lbs. My old tripod was only rated for 3.5lbs, this one can take 13lbs.
This little guy is going to get a lot of use.
