This is a silver line train to Ashburn, the next stop is Washington Dulles International Airport
- A Train
There are a number of different people at a Washington Metro station. Your average travelers, just trying to get where they are going. Tourists and foreigners, trying to figure out how to get, where they are trying to go. And pan handlers, handling pan.
For myself, I’m in the first group, heading to Dulles. To go plane spotting.
A Big Camera, For Big Planes

- Airports
Walking into the airport, I plopped down my backpack, and got to work. Pulling out the SIGMA, flipping the hood, and prepping it for the camera.
Walking through an airport with a giant camera, never gets old.
Getting to the top of the garage, I flipped on the camera, and started shooting. Unfortunately, on an overcast day. But, That’s what Lightroom is for.

After a little bit, I went back into the airport (my hands were getting cold). I also wanted to go to the other garage, for some shots of the other runway.

Look out Mr. Bird. The cell antenna might make you believe 5G conspiracy theories.

With the plane spotting over, I went on back to the train. I would love to stay longer, but I want to beat the DC rush hour. More plane pics will be on https://ntplanes.com.
